CAT Eligibility Criteria: Students who have a recognized bachelor degree (or professional degree like CA, CS or ICWA) and have scored an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST and PWD students) are eligible to write the CAT. Even students in their final year of bachelor degree are eligible to write the CAT exam.

The Selection process at MDI is divided into two stages
Stage 1 – In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted for the interviews on the basis of their CAT score.
Stage 2 – The second stage is where the college selects based on the Personal Interview (PI). A Final Score is calculated for the final Selection. The score of each candidate is calculated (usually out of 100) based on certain parameters, and the final selection list will be made.

Admission/selection criteria at MDI
Admission to MDI Gurgaon PGP Programmes is carried out in two stages.
Stage 1
In the stage 1, candidates are shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI).
The shortlisting of candidates for WAT–GD–PI is done on the basis of CAT percentiles including sectional cut-offs. The minimum CATcut–off percentile is decided based on the number of candidates to be shortlisted. The number of candidates to be shortlisted is decided as per the admission policy of MDI Gurgaon.

Stage 2: Final selection
In stage 2, the final selection is made based on the candidate’s CAT score, Application score and Personal Interview (PI).
