Hi I was applying to MDI g and I saw there that I had to upload the CAT 2021 scoresheet in the application. But the last date to apply is even before the CAT 2021 exam itself. Can anyone help?

considering the time left, what is preferable now, mocks or past pprs?

Hi You can appear for more number of mocks in the coming two weeks i,e till November 5 and post that it is recommended to give only one mock or two and focus mainly on revising the concepts . Past Year papers should now compliment your preparation and you should attempt them in your practice from now till CAT . They can be given as sectionals as well but as before 2020 CAT was a 3 hour format so you might not get 40 mins sectionals of them so it is recommended to solve them in your practice time but make sure you solve them in time limit.

Hi GK for IIFT is covered through the five mocks which are provided to you . All The mocks have GK questions as per the trends of IIFT i.e they have a mixture of current affairs and static GK from all the areas such as sports, economics, politics , geography etc.

I am practicing daily with analysis. My mock score is not improving can u help me with good strategy for it !!!

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Your mock scores won't improve until you find out why you are getting a low score. This involves - 1. Identifying your weaker section and what improvement needs to be done in that particular section. 2. Identifying if it is attempt or accuracy that you are having a problem with. 3. Identifying if it is only mocks where this problem exists, that is, whether you are performing well in topic tests and sectionals, and once you give a mock, the pressure comes in and you end up with a not-so-satisfying performance. Also, make sure that you do not draw conclusions based on the performance in a single mock. You can draw conclusions based on the last 3-4 mocks that you have take. Finally, improvement in scores in not an overnight process. It takes time and patience and a tremendous amount of effort in the right direction. Keep working on it and you shall definitely come out of this!

I'm not confident to solve even 1 DILR question, What should I do?

Hi Ayush Confidence builds with practice, as we have only a month left so you have to work hard and plan more strategically . Try to identify potential topics or topics from where questions have been repeatedly asked and can be asked this time as well for example arrangements, puzzles and venn diagrams . Try to go through the basics of these in a day or 2 and appear for topic tests of these as quickly as you can , Try not to worry and do not think before solving that you cannot solve or just by looking at once concluding that you won't be able to solve , try to read and extract information as much as you can and approach the set . Try to devote at least a week from now to only LRDI , watch You tube videos of Sayali Mam and Maruti sir , watch the two stream sessions of LRDI in live booster class and keep practicing. While asking the doubt, we are not allowed to copy paste from the passage. It becomes very difficult in VARC doubts because we have to "type" the entire sentence inorder to ask the doubt.
