Please be an active reader......read something or the other.....it could be a novel or newspaper....atleast 2 hours a day and try to increase the number of pages per day. It will improve ur reading speed and will improve VARC ultimately.

Hi Let concentration of A be a% and B be b % Now a:b =3:8 Now when 100ml of A and 150 ml of B will have total 250 ml solution and 250*0.2=50ml alcohol Now adding alcohol concentrations : a+3b/2 =50 using a:b=3:8 we get a=10 so concentration of a will be 10%

Hi, in VARC section, I'm making extreemly silly mistakes. How do I mend them?

In-depth analysis is the key. Check whether is there any pattern to your mistakes. Is there any certain type of questions you are consistently getting wrong- might be CR, inference etc. And most importantly, you gotta have your comprehension really good. And even if this is good, then you are making mistakes in solving questions. See, two options will be anyway quite outlandish that can be easily eliminated, you will be left with two options and the real game starts with these two options- both will seem correct. Look for the TRAPS that the que setter might have put in the incorrect one. The correct option has to be aligned with the passage completely. And please, no external knowledge inputs especially for the topics you are acquainted with.
