How to increase speed in Quants? I am completing 13 questions and scoring around 30. I want to raise my attempts to 17

Can someone please explain the logic behind the formula to calculate "principal paid in equal instalments"? {(x/(1+r%) + x/(1+r%)^2 + ..... + x/(1+r%)^n = P}

I avoid using this formula for shorter durations like 2-3 periods because I can't remember it, but for longer durations of time (for eg: 8 periods), it becomes almost impossible to solve without the formula?

I Have Giving a mock before getting the window closed
so after the window will be closed at that time solution window of that mock will be visible right?
if yes then still when it will be visible
if no then how to review that giving mock again.
