These 16 students are a mix of R ^ (th) graders, 9th graders and 10th graders. The school principal has instructed the coach that each team he selects for a match must contain exactly two 8 ^ (th) graders, exactly two 9 ^ (th) graders and one 10th grader.

DashCat 2, Question 60. <br><br>Using angle bisector theorem we can conclude AO/OC = 1/2 and area of AOD/BOC = sq(1) / sq(2) = 1/4. i.e.. given that area of BOC,AOB,AOD are in desc GP we can conclude area(AOB) = sqrt(4*1) = 2 (Geometric mean). So common ratio of (4,2,1) is 1/2 !!!<br><br>Is this correct way of interpreting ? Also the given solution are quite complex and huge<br>
