Hey, I have completed my graduation this year in the commerce field (BCom). I have scored around 68 to 70 % in graduation. Also I have scored 84% in 10th and 91.2% in 12th. Can I hope for IIM A and K, with low grad. scores?

In the Surds and Indices module, the first video at 3:20, it is said that when the surd in denominator is multiplied by its conjugate in both numerator and denominator, then we get, as in the example, (a- rt.b)/(a^2 - b^2).

I don't understand how that can be because I think it will because I think it will be (a- rt.b)/(a^2 - b).

I have 2 years of work ex, I quit my job and came back to my home town as my father suffered from a brain stroke.

so since November 2018, I haven't worked anywhere as my family need me at their disposal at all times.

I don't think he will be able to recover any time soon. However, will this affect my chances in the personal interview as I will not be able to work till I appear for the 2019 CAT exam?
