the quotient will be 0 for the numbers from 1 to 17. for 18 the quotient will differ. Similarly for 36, 37. similarly for 54,55,56. The number of numbers not satisfying this condition will go on increasing as shown 1,2 3........18. after 18 no number will have the same quotient with 18 and 19. So the number of numbers satisfying the condition will be (19*18-1)-(18*(18+1)/2)=170. the last number satisfying the condition will be 323

first of all separate it into 2 different fractions. 583*584*585*586*587*588/720. cancel the numerator and denominator using 20. then it the remainder will be 3*4*5*6*7*8/36. but by remainder theorem we have divided numerator and denominator with 20 so the actual remainder will 36 time the remainder obtained.so the actual remainder we get is (3*4*5*6*7*8)*36. So the remainder will be further reduced to 0. then the second fraction remains. but remainder theorem its remainder is -1*-2*-3*-4=24

Is it possible for an 80 percentille guy to get 99+ percentile in a year or two through hard work? Also, If the guy has a job which consumes more than 10 hours of his life daily, how does he make the effort to appear for exams like CAT?

Hi DebnandaIt is certainly possible to score 99 percentile irrespective of what your current percentile is.Many people do it every year. There is a story on Quora about a guy who improved from 62 to 99.93 percentile and is currently studying in IIM-C. Thus, you just need to focus on your preparation. Regarding the job part, you will have to utilise your time well. I hope you can manage 1-2 hours on weekdays and 5-6 hours on weekends. This is enough for CAT. Hope that helps.
