What shoulld be the strategy for attempting Quant session?

figure out your topics of expertise,, for example, if i am very comfortable with GEOMETRY, LOGARITHMS, RATIOS, ALLIGATIOINS, TSD, TW AND PROFIT LOSS, i would primarily scan out the section in the fist 5 mins and attempt all the questions of my interest in first round. however, its important that you do not spend more than 3 mins on a question, or 4 mins in worst case scenario. once done with topics you are expert in , try attempting remaining questions in the remaining time. the demerit by attempting the paper round wise is that, you woud be so anxious to skip to the next question, searcing for the easy questions that you might miss out on the time and left out solving only 8 to 10 questions. cheers..!!!

You should go through the paper atleast for 2 rounds,.. first round, you should do only sitters,.. even though you know solution to any sum, and you feel that it takes a bit of time, then you should mark it and do it in the second round. First round should be done within 30-40 mins, and you should answer around 15-18 questions, which are generally the number of easy problems you get. Next 20 mins or so, you can answer atleast 8-10, which gives you around 28 attempts.

i cannot tell what would actully improve your situation, but i can share what helped me. i basically attepmt the 10 va questions in the first 15 to 20 mins, trying to deliver maximum accuracym, after that in the remaining 40 to 45 mins, i attempt atleast 4 rcs,,,,if rcs are lengthy, atleast 3 must be attepted with maximum accureacy. besides all this, going through the rcs questions before attempting the rcs have helped me cheers

how close is dashcat 12 to the actual paper? apparently,the mock seems to be a bit tougher.

We would recommend you taking mocks from DASHCAT 15-20 as they are closer to the level of actual CAT. The first few mocks will be slightly harder than actual CAT

I managed to get 92% in DashCAT_19, with same accuracy and cool-headed approach how much can i score in CAT_2k19 ????

DashCAT 16 to 20 are closer to actual CAT, as only serious aspirants give the mocks, you can expect 95+, if you maintain the same composure.

solve 10 va questions in the first 15 to 20 mins and try to deliver max accuracy. thenafter, in remaining time , attempt atleast 3 rcs with maximum accuracy ( in worst case scenario). however, in actual cat you can easilly knock off 4 rcs in 40 to 45 mins, just make sure that you do not trade off accuracy with speed. cheers to life
