In XAT there were some questions that had no negative markings, so this was confusing as instruction page said all question had negative marks. Will I get negative marks if I get that question wrong?

Colleges to expect for exact 90 percentile? I am confused if I have to target the 85-90 bracket or 90-95 range of colleges. Please provide your suggestions.

Hi ananth, I am assuming that you are general-engineer-male The 3 colleges ideal for this percentile are IMI, IMT, XIMB You can apply for IIT roorkee. Only in case of a fantastic profile(acads, work-ex), IIT-kgp is a viable option. If you are willing to consider 85-90percentile college bracket, consider the colleges MICA, TAPMI, GIM & FORE in that order

Has anyone got IIM Rohtak shortlist mail? Is it required to pay Rs.2000/- as its registration fee?

I have got only 35 percentile in valr.but i also got that call from iim rohtak.shall i apply for tgat or is it waste of money as i havent cleared sectional cutoff

Hi nagaraju, You should be getting calls from new IIMs like amritsar and nagpur. You can also expect calls from CAP Since, you have excellent 10th and 12th score. you are likely to get calls from old IIMs of indore and kozhikode If you have work-ex, IIT-D considers a composite score with a prefernce to work-ex and profile. While iit-B is out, IIT-D is a shot in the dark. You can apply for IIT-kgp, and IIT-madras Your final fallback options should be IMI, IMT and IIT kanpur These are very good colleges too. If you are unable to convert any of these colleges, you can certainly consider reappearing for CAT. Try to make the most of your score and convert IITs or IIMs as CAT is unpredictable Wish you best of luck:)
