ΔPQR is right angled at Q. If m$$\angle$$P = 45°, then find the value of (cosecR + 1/3)
Solution
Sum of angles of $$\triangle$$ PQR = $$\angle P+\angle Q+\angle R=180^\circ$$
=> $$45^\circ+90^\circ+\angle R=180^\circ$$
=> $$\angle R=180^\circ-135^\circ=45^\circ$$
To find : $$(\cosec R +\frac{1}{3})$$
= $$cosec(45^\circ)+\frac{1}{3}$$
= $$\sqrt2+\frac{1}{3}$$
= $$\frac{(3\sqrt2+1)}{3}$$
=> Ans - (C)
