∆DEF is right angled at E. If m∠D = 45°, then find the value of (tanF + 1/3).
Solution
Sum of angles of $$\triangle$$ DEF = $$\angle D+\angle E+\angle F=180^\circ$$
=> $$45^\circ+90^\circ+\angle F=180^\circ$$
=> $$\angle F=180^\circ-135^\circ=45^\circ$$
To find : $$(\tan F + \frac{1}{3})$$
= $$tan(45^\circ)+\frac{1}{3}$$
= $$1+\frac{1}{3}=\frac{4}{3}$$
=> Ans - (A)
