Solution

Total number of girls = 1750

No. of girls enrolled in swimming = $$\frac{14}{100}$$ * 1750 = 245

Total number of students = 3000

Total number of students enrolled in swimming = $$\frac{16}{100}$$ * 3000 = 480

=> No. of boys enrolled in swimming = 480 - 245 = 235

$$\therefore$$ Required ratio = 245 : 235 = 49 : 47
