The dimensions of a brick are 10 cm x 4 can x 3 cm. What is the total surface area of this brick ?

Solution

Given that dimensions of a brick are 10 cm x 4 cm x 3 cm.

Total surface area of a cuboid = 2 [( l × b ) + ( l× h ) + ( b× h )]

=> $$ T.S.A = 2[(10 \times 4) + (10 \times 3) + (4 \times 3)] $$

=> $$ T.S.A =2( 40+30+12) = 164cm^2$$
