37 girls are standing in a row facing the school building. Ayesha is fifteenth from the left end. If she is shifted six places to the right, what is her position from the right end ?

Solution

Total number of girls in the row = 37

Ayesha's position from left end = 15th

If she is shifted six places to the right, Ayesha's new position from left end = 15 + 6 = 21st

=> Ayesha's position from right end = (37 - 21) + 1 = 16 + 1 = 17th

=> Ans - (E)
