Question 95

Simplify: $$[2\frac{1}{3} - 1\frac{1}{2}]  of  \frac{3}{5} + 1\frac{2}{5} \div 2\frac{1}{3}$$

Solution

$$[2\frac{1}{3} - 1\frac{1}{2}] of \frac{3}{5} + 1\frac{2}{5} \div 2\frac{1}{3}$$

$$\left[\frac{7}{3}-\frac{3}{2}\right]\times\frac{3}{5}+\frac{7}{5}\times\ \frac{3}{7}$$

$$\frac{5}{6}\times\frac{3}{5}+\frac{7}{5}\times\ \frac{3}{7}$$

$$\frac{5}{6}\times\ \frac{3}{5}+\frac{3}{5}$$

$$\frac{1}{2}+\frac{3}{5}$$

$$1\frac{1}{10}$$
