Amount invested by A=3.5 lakhs
Amount invested by B=3 lakh
Ratio in the profit = 2:1
Let B started after x months.
So, $$3.5\times 12 : 3\times x= 2:1$$
$$x=\dfrac{3.5\times 12}{3\times 2}$$
$$x=7 months$$
