If the fraction $$\frac{2}{55},\frac{3}{8},\frac{4}{9},\frac{5}{13},\frac{6}{11}$$ are arranged in ascending order of their values which one will be the fourth ?
Solution
First, converting the fractional value into decimal value,
$$\frac{2}{55}$$ = 0.036
$$\frac{5}{13}$$ =0.38
$$\frac{4}{9}$$ =0.44
$$\frac{3}{8}$$ =0.375
$$\frac{6}{11}$$ =0.545
Now, arranging in ascending order we get,
(2/55), (3/8), (5/13), (4/9) and (6/11)
Now, 4/9 is fourth.
