If $$(a^2 - b^2) \div (a + b)$$ = 25, find a - b ?

Solution

$$(a^2 - b^2) \div (a + b)$$ = 25

$$\frac{\left(a-b\right)\left(a+b\right)}{\left(a+b\right)}=25$$

$$\left(a-b\right)=25$$
