A girl walks 30m towards south, thn turning to her right she walks 30m, then turning to her left, she walks 20m, again she turns to her left and walks 30m. How far is she from her initial position?
Let the girl starts from point A and walks south for 30 m till she reaches B, then she turns right and walks towards west for 30 m and reach point C. Then, she turns left and travel south for 20 m and before finally stopping at point E.
Thus, AE = 30 + 20 = 50 m
$$\therefore$$ The girl is 50 m to the south of her initial position.
