$$II. 4y^{2} + 24y+ 35 = 0$$

Solution

I. 8$$x^{2}$$+26x+15=0

8$$x^{2}$$+20x+6x+15=0

4x(2x+5)+3(2x+5)=0

(4x+3)(2x+5)=0

x=(-3/4) or (-5/4)

II . 4$$y^{2}$$+24y+35=0

4$$y^{2}$$+10y+14y+35=0

2y(2y+5)+7(2y+5)=0

(2y+7)(2y+5)=0

y=(-7/2) or (-5/2)

Clearly x>y
