If 5 - x > 1 + 3x and 5 + 5x ≥ 2 + 2x; then x can take which of the following values?
Expression (i) : 5 - x > 1 + 3x
=> 3x + x < 5 - 1, => 4x < 4
=> x < 1
Expression (ii) : 5 + 5x ≥ 2 + 2x
=> 5x - 2x $$\geq$$ 2 - 5, => 3x $$\geq$$ -3
=> x $$\geq$$ -1
Combining above equations, we get = -1 $$\leq x$$ < 1
Thus, x can be either -1 or 0
