As the side of square is coinciding with side of equilateral triangle so side of equilateral teiangle = 8 cm
Area of equilateral triangle = (√3/4 ) side^2
Area of square = side ^2
Total area = area of square + area of traingle
= ((√3/4) x64) + 64
=16(√3+4) sqr cm
