When we code the alphabets numerically in reverse order, i.e. Z=1, Y=2, X=3, W=4 and so on and take the sum, we will get the desired result.
Eg :- VIRUS $$\equiv5+18+9+6+8=46$$
Similarly, CRUST $$\equiv24+9+6+8+7=54$$
