A, B and C are co-workers in a company and their total salary is Rs. 94,000/-. The salaries of A and B are in the ratio 5 : 6; that of B and C are in the ratio 3:2. If the salaries of C and A are in the ratio 4:5 then the salary of B ( in thousands of rupees) is

Solution

Given, total salary of A, B and C = Rs. 94,000

A : B = 5:6 

B : C = 3:2 = 6:4

$$\Rightarrow$$ A : B : C = 5:6:4

$$\therefore\ $$Salary of B $$=\frac{6}{5+6+4}\times94000=\frac{6}{15}\times94000=$$ 45,000
