Two numbers are 30% and 60% lesser than a third number. By how much percent is the second number to be enhanced to make it equal to the first number?
Let third number = $$100x$$
First number is 30% less than $$100x$$ and second number is 60% less than $$100x$$
=> First number = $$70x$$ and Second number = $$40x$$
To make second number equal to first number, it should be enhanced by = $$70x - 40x = 30x$$
=> Required % = $$\frac{30x}{40x} \times 100 = 3 \times 25 = 75\%$$
=> Ans - (A)
