Question 77

If $$\sqrt{1296}$$ = 36, then the value of $$\sqrt{12.96}+\sqrt{0.1296}+\sqrt{0.001296}+\sqrt{0.00001296}$$ is:

Solution

Now, $$\sqrt{1296}$$ = 36
$$\sqrt{12.96}$$ = $$\sqrt{1296/100}$$ = $$\frac{36}{10}$$=3.6
Similarly,
$$\sqrt{0.1296}$$ = $$\sqrt{1296/10000}$$ = $$\frac{36}{100}$$=.36
$$\sqrt{0.001296}$$ = $$\sqrt{1296/10000}$$ = $$\frac{36}{1000}$$ = 0.036
Therefore, $$\sqrt{12.96}+\sqrt{0.1296}+\sqrt{0.001296}+\sqrt{0.00001296}$$ = 3.6+.36+.036 = 3.996
Option B is the correct answer.
