Given here is a pie chart of the cost of gold in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Study the chart and answer the following questions
The ratio of percentage of increase in price of gold from 2011 to 2012 and 2012 to 2013 is
Price of gold in 2011 ($$^\circ$$) = 75
Price of gold in 2012 ($$^\circ$$) = 105
=> Percentage increase in price from 2011 to 2012 = $$\frac{105-75}{75} \times 100$$
= $$\frac{30}{3} \times 4=40\%$$
Similarly, percentage increase in price from 2012 to 2013 = $$\frac{135-105}{105} \times 100$$
= $$\frac{200}{7}\%$$
$$\therefore$$ Required ratio = $$40$$Â : $$\frac{200}{7}$$
= $$40 \times \frac{7}{200} = \frac{7}{5}$$
=> Ans - (B)
