A man travelling by bus finds that the bus crosses 35 electric poles in 1 minute and the distance between 2 poles is 50 metres. Find the speed of the bus.

Solution

Total distance between 35 poles = $$34\times\ 50=1700$$

Speed = $$\frac{1700}{60}\times\frac{18}{5}=102$$ km/h
