The HCF of two numbers is 11 and their LCM is 330. If one of the number is 55. Find the other number.

Solution

Given H.C.F=11

L.C.M=330

Let the numbers be 55 and x

product of numbers=product of L.C.M and H.C.F

$$55\times x=11\times330$$

$$x= 66$$

Therefore other number=66

Option B is correct.
