Study the given bar graph and answer the questions that follows.
Profit(loss)= Income = Expenditure
Percentage profit(loss) = $$\frac{Profit(loss)\times 100}{Expenditure}$$
What is the percentage loss incurred by the company in 2016 and 2019 together
(correct to one decimal place)?
Income for 2016 and 2019 together = 400 + 450 = 850.
Expenditures for 2016 and 2019 together = 560 + 500 = 1060.
Loss incurred = 1060 - 850 = 210.
Loss% = $$\frac{210}{1060}\times\ 100=\frac{2100}{106}=\frac{1050}{53}=19.81\%$$.
