From the given table,
As per the instructions, total production of the car in 2012, except car type B $$= 54+46+33+47=180$$
Total production of all type car in 2016 $$=55+67+77+49+52=300$$
Hence, the required percentage $$=\dfrac{(300-180)\times100}{300}$$
$$=\dfrac{(120)\times100}{300}$$
$$=40\%$$
