In the following question, select the missing number from the given series.

Solution

In each column, for the numbers $$a$$, $$b$$, $$c$$ and $$d$$, pattern is : $$a=b\times(c+d)$$

Eg :- $$2\times(3+4)=2\times7=14$$

$$2\times(6+4)=2\times10=20$$

Similarly, $$x\times(5+3)=16$$

=> $$x=\frac{16}{8}=2$$

=> Ans - (B)
