Dodecahedron has 30 edges. How many vertices does it have?

Solution

Euler's formula : $$V + F - E = 2$$ where V is number of vertices , F is number of faces and E is number of edges.

Dodecahedron has 30 edges and 12 faces.

=> $$V = 2 + E - F = 2 + 30 - 12$$

=> $$V = 32 - 12 = 20$$

=> Ans - (C)
