Solution

The number of units of the product sold in 2016 = 470

average production of the units in 2012 to 2016 = $$\frac{320+338+432+256+504}{5}$$

= $$\frac{1850}{5}$$

= 370

Percentage more = $$\frac{\left(470-370\right)}{370}\times\ 100$$

= $$\frac{100}{370}\times\ 100$$

= 27.027%

= 27% approx.
