In covering a certain distance, two persons travel at speeds in the ratio 18 : 12. What is the ratio of the time taken by them?

Solution

We know that,

$$\frac{S_1}{S_2}=\frac{T_2}{T_1}.$$

So,

$$\frac{T_1}{T_2}=\frac{12}{18}=\frac{2}{3}.$$

B is correct choice.
