Solution

The error is in the part B

Mule -lt is a hybrid offering of male donkey & female horse.

So it is not the appropriate word- it doesn't indicate height.Or we can say it is not having `height' as a his attribute.

The correct simile is

As tall as giraffe.

So correct sentence will be-

He can be a basketball player since he is tall like a giraffe.
