Total selected candidates in 2013 = 720 of 25%
= $$720\times\frac{25}{100}$$
= $$720\times\frac{1}{4}$$
= 180 Eq.(ii)
percentage less = $$\frac{\left(Eq.(ii)-Eq.(i)\right)}{Eq.(ii)}\times\ 100$$
= $$\frac{\left(180-72\right)}{180}\times\ 100$$
= $$\frac{108}{180}\times\ 100$$
= $$\frac{108}{18}\times10$$
