Solution

Factor of $$(a^3 + b^3) = (a + b) (a^2 - ab + b^2)$$

Factor of $$(a+b)^2 = (a + b) (a + b)$$

Factor of $$ (a^2 - b^2) = (a + b) (a - b)$$

Common factor = (a + b)

H.C.F. of $$ (a^3 + b^3), (a+b)^2 and (a^2 - b^2) = (a + b)$$
