The driver of a mini bus driving at 82 km/hr locates a motor bike 150 m ahead of him. After 20 seconds, the motor bike was 100 m behind the bus. The speed (in km/hr) of the motor bike is:
Speed of bus = 82 km/hr = $$82\times\frac{5}{18}=\frac{205}{9}$$ m/s
Let speed of bike = $$x$$ m/s
Now, difference between the distance covered by bike and bus in 20 seconds = $$150+100=250$$ m
=> $$(\frac{205}{9}-x)\times20=250$$
=> $$x=\frac{205}{9}-\frac{25}{2}=\frac{410-225}{18}=\frac{185}{18}$$
$$\therefore$$ Speed of bike in km/hr = $$\frac{185}{18}\times\frac{18}{5}=37$$ km/hr
