less than the production of maize in 2018?
Solution
Production of Wheat in 2015, 2017 and 2019 is 240, 330 and 360 respectively.
The average will be: $$\frac{240+330+360}{3}=310$$.
Production of Maize in2018 = 400.
The difference is 400 - 310 = 90.
The percentage by which the average is less than the Maize production = $$\frac{90}{400}\times\ 100\ =\ 22.5\%$$.
