Let the number be $$x$$
Acc to ques,
=> $$x - \frac{45x}{100} = 56$$
=> $$\frac{20x}{20} - \frac{9x}{20} = 56$$
=> $$\frac{11x}{20} = 56$$
=> $$x = \frac{56 \times 20}{11}$$
=> $$x = 101.81 \approx 102$$
$$\therefore$$ 65% of $$x$$ = $$\frac{65}{100} \times 102$$
= $$66.3 \approx 66$$
