Let total number of tickets sold by all the theatres together on Thursday = $$100x$$
Acc. to ques, => $$100x + \frac{70}{100} \times 100x = 850$$
=> $$100x + 70x = 170x = 850$$
=> $$x = \frac{850}{170} = 5$$
$$\therefore$$ Total number of tickets sold by all the theatres together on Thursday = $$100 \times 5 = 500$$
