Which of the following numbers will be obtained if the first digit of lowest number is subtracted from the second digit of highest number after adding one to each of the numbers?

Solution

Numbers = 489 , 541 , 654 , 953 , 783

After adding 1 to each of the numbers,

=> New numbers = 490 , 542 , 655 , 954 , 784

1st digit of lowest number = 490

2nd digit of highest numbers = 954

$$\therefore$$ Difference = 5 - 4 = 1

=> Ans - (A)
