Let the average age of members of committee be A and 2 women be a and b.

ΣM = A * 8

ΣM +a + b - 35 - 45 = 8*(A + 2)

8A + a + b - 35 - 45 = 8*(A + 2)

a+b = 96

Average age of 2 women = 96/2 = 48 years
