In the following question the symbols $$\delta$$, %, $, # and @ are used with the following meanings as illustrated below
‘P $ Q’ means ‘P is not smaller than Q’
‘P @ Q’ means ‘P is not greater than Q’
‘P $$\delta$$ Q’ means ‘P is neither smaller than nor equal to Q’
‘P # Q’ means ‘P is neither greater than nor equal to Q’
‘P % Q’ means ‘P is neither smaller than nor greater than Q’
Now in each of the following question assuming the given statements to be true find which of the two Conclusions I and II given below them is/are definitely true ?

Question 59

Statements N $$\delta$$ K, K # D, D % M
Conclusions I.M $$\delta$$ K
II.D $$\delta$$ N

Solution

N $$\delta$$ K which means N is greater than K
K # D which means K s smaller than D
D % M which means D is equal to M
Therefore, we can conclude that M is greater than K as M and D are equal.
However, no relation can be established between D and N.
Only conclusion I follows.
