If $$x+\frac{1}{x}=5$$ then the value $$\frac{x}{1+x+x^2}$$

Solution

Expression : $$x+\frac{1}{x}=5$$

=> $$\frac{x^2+1}{x}=5$$

=> $$x^2+1=5x$$ ------------(i)

To find : $$\frac{x}{1+x+x^2}$$

Substituting value from equation (i)

= $$\frac{x}{x+5x}=\frac{x}{6x}$$

= $$\frac{1}{6}$$

=> Ans - (B)
