If 40% of 70 is x% more than 30% of 80, then find 'x'.

Solution

40% of 70 is x% more than 30% of 80

$$\frac{40}{100}70  =  \frac{x}{100}+ \frac{30}{100}80$$

$$28 =\frac{x}{100} + 24 $$

x = 400
