(A)Because of the black and white rats the branch would fall on the ground very soon and the man woke up with a start only to realize that it was a dream.
(B)On climbing he looked down and saw that the lion was still there waiting for him.
(C)Once a man dreamt that a lion was chasing him
(D)One rat was black and the other one was white
(E)The man then looked to his side where the branch he was sitting on was attached to the tree and saw that two rats were circling around and eating the branch
(F)The man ran to a tree climbed on to it and sat on a branch
Sentence C should be the first sentence as it introduces the man and the chasing lion. Sentence F should follow C as it tells what the man did to save himself from the lion. Sentence B and E both tells that man looked somewhere but in E 'then' makes it evident man looked down first. So BE follows F. Sentence D tell details about rats mentioned in sentence E and sentence D should be followed by sentence A. So, the correct sequence is C-F-B-E-D-A.
Thus, the fourth sentence is E.
