Solution

$$4\left[\frac{(1 - \sec A)^{2} + (1 + \sec A)^{2}}{1 + \sec^{2}A}\right]$$

= $$4\left[\frac{1 + \sec^{2}A  - 2\sec A + 1 + \sec^{2}A + 2\sec A}{1 + \sec^{2}A}\right]$$

= $$4\left[\frac{2(1 + \sec^{2}A) }{1 + \sec^{2}A}\right]$$ = 8
