curved surface area of a right circular cone = $$\pi\ \times\ radius\times\ slant\ height$$

$$44=\frac{22}{7}\times\ radius\times\ slant\ height$$

If the slant height of the cone is 7 cm.

$$44=\frac{22}{7}\times\ radius\times\ 7$$

$$2=\ radius$$

Radius of its base = 2 cm
